1973 Henry Sibley Hockey Team
The 1973 team was inducted into the West Saint Paul Hockey Hall of Fame in 2001 for being the first Henry Sibley hockey team to play in the State Tournament. They upset South Saint Paul in the section final to reach the state tournament.

One of only three Auggies to ever earn All-America honors twice in men's hockey (1981, 1982),
Brown was a key member of teams that won NAIA national championships in 1981 and 1982.
He was voted the most valuable player of the 1981 national tournament.
Terry earned All-MIAC honors twice, was a two-year captain, and is the school's
all-time leader in both assists (101) and total points (167).
In golf, he was a four-year letterwinner, two-time captain and won the MIAC individual championship in 1982.

Mark Herzog (Forward)
Augsburg College (1981-1985)
Herzog earned All-MIAC honors in two sports, baseball and men's hockey.
A three-time All-MIAC selection and two-time captain in baseball, Herzog
earned team MVP honors his junior and senior seasons. He finished his
baseball career with a .379 batting average (148-of390), 104 runs scored,
104 RBI, 28 doubles, 13 triples and 16 home runs in 128 career games.
In hockey, Mark was a four-year letter winner, scoring 26 goals and 35 assists
for 61 points in 75 career games. He earned All-MIAC honorable-mention
honors twice in hockey. He was an alternate captain his senior season,
and was part of an Auggie team that finished forth nationally his junior campaign.
Herzo majored in management information systems and minored in business at Augsburg.
Mark was inducted into the Augsburg College Athletic Hall of Fame in 2005 for both
hockey and baseball.

Mark Liska (Goalie)

Liska is the only three-time First-Team Titan AHCA All-America honoree in BSU history and is one of two players to earn First-Team All-America honors three times during his career. He also is one of only three BSU players to be named First-Team All-Northern Collegiate Hockey Association three times during his career. Liska posted a 61-10-3 record during his four-year career. His 61 wins rank him fourth all-time at BSU, and he ranks in the Top 10 of nearly every other major goaltending category as well. He is fourth on the program’s career lists for both save percentage (.903) and goals-against average (2.76), and is eighth all-time in saves (2,013) as one of eight netminders in BSU history with at least 2,000 saves. He posted four career shutouts to tie for seventh all-time at BSU, and his 4,717 career minutes played also rank seventh. Liska is one of only three goaltenders in BSU history with at least 60 wins, 2,000 saves and 4,000 minutes played in goal. During his time at BSU the Beavers went 113-17-4.

Brent led River Falls in 1987 with 3 short handed goals and with 2 game winning goals in 1986.
Dick Novak (Forward)
University of River Falls
Dick was named to the Minnesota State All-Tournament team in 1974.
In 2005, Dick was inducted into the UW-River Falls Athletic Hall of Fame. Novak played hockey at UW-River Falls and earned four letters from 1977-79. The Falcons competed in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics National Championships in each of those seasons. The Falcons placed fourth in 1978 and 1979. After the 1979 season Novak earned NAIA All-American honors - only the fourth Falcon at the time to have earned the award. In his first season he finished second in scoring for the Falcons with 13 goals and 31 assists for 44 points. In 1978 he was also second in scoring with 17 goals and 23 assists for 40 points. He led the 1979 team in scoring with 20 goals and 36 assists for 56 points. The 56 points is fifth in a single season and the 36 assists is fourth in a single season at UW-RF. He scored 50 goals, 90 assists and 140 points in his career. He is currently sixth on the all-time scoring list at UW-RF. He is currently the superintendent of the Arrowhead Country Club in Rapid City, S.D.
